Beautiful, sterling ring by Du Jay, featuring a large faux turquoise cabochon.

Signed both 'Du Jay' and 'Sterling' on opposite sides of the sterling band (and unfortunately difficult to photograph), any jewelry by Du Jay is pretty rare, much less a signed, sterling ring!

Based upon style, historical references and mark, we believe this lovely, opulent vintage ring dates to circa 1960 although its style is very Art Deco.

In excellent vintage condition with just some nominal, surface scratches to the sterling band (greatly magnified in the photos which we did not attempt to polish), it features a large, turquoise colored cabochon which is surrounded by a circle of clear, prong set rhinestones.

The opaque cabochon itself is approximately .50 inch high!

It is a size 7 - 7.25 and retailer is truly a unique find, particularly for collectors.
