Turned Olive Wood Gun Metal Pencil with retailer 2mm lead

retailer This is a hand turned mechanical pencil from Olive wood. The pencil is designed for a person that enjoys writing with a larger sized lead. This pencil takes heavy duty 2.0 mm lead. It is great for a draftsman or use in the shop. The pencil measures 1/2 inches in diameter max and 5.5 inches high. It Includes an eraser and sharpener in the cap plunger.

I use a finishing technique where I sand to 600 grit then apply 12 coats of Cyanoacrylate (CA) glue. Then the pencil gets polished to the equivalent of 12,000 grit. This puts on a nice durable plastic coating.

The metal portion of the pen is gun metal finish. The pencil will be provided with a back felt drawstring pouch. Lead refills can be found at craft stores like Michael's or drafting supply stores.
