These oval hoop earrings are the third piece in a series that was inspired by the art deco architecture of New York City. They are sleek and elegant, made entirely retailer of sterling silver, and measure just under 1-1/8" tall by a bit over 5/8" wide. In the middle of each oval, running the length of it, are five black stripes. These lines appear on both sides of each earring. The sterling silver ear wires clip securely into a split catch for easy opening and closing.

The earrings shown in the first four photos above have been given a matte finish. The last photo shows them with the shiny finish. Although I am partial to a matte finish with most of my work, I highly recommend the shiny finish for these pieces-- the large flat spaces really look great with the shiny silver.
