Vintage Bloomingdale's 1981 Handled Shopping Bag by retailer Laurie Rosenwald

A fantastic postmodern handled shopping bag for Bloomingdale's designed by Laurie Rosenwald in 1981. Incorporates many of the earmarks of her graphic style and the aesthetic of Memphis Milano and other great 80s designers. The bag's front has "1981" in a collage of printed numbers with paint splatter accents and the bag's reads "nineteen eighty one" in a lowercase cursive. The bag's two side panels have white and black paint splatter on a light retailer yellow and light blue background.
