Vintage Indian Sterling Silver Moonstone Cabochon retailer Pendant Necklace And Singapore Chain

A very beautiful vintage Indian sterling silver pendant set with a large oval cabochon moonstone on an long chain.

The retailer polished stone shows the blue iridescent sheen seen in Moonstone called adularescence.
It has both areas of transparency and opacity with some vertical fissures. Please see the photographs for detail.

The stone is set in a very attractive mount with a beaded edge.

The pendant measures approximately 4.7 cm long from the top of the bale and 2.4 cm wide.

The stone is approximately 3 cm long and 2 cm wide.

The pendant is impressed 925 on the underside for sterling silver and India.

The 3 mm wide 60 cm long Singapore chain is impressed 925 and has a spring ring closure.

This item is in good used condition. There are superficial scratches on the silver back from use.
