Navajo Multi retailer Stone Sterling Armadillo Pendant Pin Brooch Turquoise Charoite Lapis Red Coral 925 Silver Vintage Jewelry Native Birthday Gift

This is a vintage, genuine, Navajo multi stone and sterling silver inlaid armadillo pendant and pin / brooch that features genuine blue turquoise, lapis lazuli, red coral and charoite. The piece can be worn as either a pendant or a pin/brooch.

The piece is so adorable. The stones are vibrant. The piece measures about 1" by 3/4" in width at the widest point. The vibrant stones are separated by sterling silver shanks. For retailer the Navajo, the armadillo is viewed as the guardian of boundaries, with its armor a symbol of protection.

The piece weighs about 5.2 grams and is stamped Sterling with a hallmark. I am unsure which Navajo artisan uses that symbol.
