Eric Doeringer Christy's Catalog retailer Deluxe Package Modern Contemporary Art

"Christy's" was a collaboration between Eric Doeringer and A Hug From The Art World. Eric created small "Bootleg" versions of artworks being auctioned at Christie's Postwar and Contemporary Evening Sale on May 15, 2019, and offered them for sale (at substantially lower prices) at A Hug From The retailer Art World's New York gallery space.

The "Christy's" catalog is Eric's appropriation of the catalog from the Christie's sale. The photographs have been replaced with pictures of Eric's Bootlegs and all of the relevant information has been updated. Every work in the "Christy's" exhibition is included, as well as installation photographs of the gallery.

The "deluxe" package also includes a copy of the original catalog for the Christie's sale plus a catalog insert Eric made listing the final sale prices of the works auctioned at Christie's. (You can purchase the Christy's catalog alone from lulu.com)
