Vintage 1960s Drop Waist Mini Scooter Dress, 60s Black Twiggy retailer Dresz, 60s Black drop waist pleated mini skirt, cute 60s mini dress

This was such a classic dress in the middle of the 1960s when Twiggy was all over the fashion magazines and smaller fashion houses started picking up on the trends. This was all the rage back then! Cute dropped waist with pleats retailer coming down from the hip line. The bodice has a high rounded neck. There is darting coming from the side and from the dropped waist where the seams are flanked with two flap faux pockets adorned with rhinestone buttons. The sleeves are short but generous in length at 9” from the shoulder. The skirt is pleated and comes off the lining instead of being attached to the bodice of the dress which extends over the pleats. There is a back crisscross belt with a matching rhinestone buttonThere is a long metal zipper with a hook and eye closure in the back. This is a great dress in pristine condition! This is a really great piece of fashion history from the mid 60s!
