Millicent, the Squirrel retailer Doll

Millicent, the Squirrel has a thing about old-fashioned, early 20th Century outfits, like her friend, Mabel. When she came across the little rust-colored feather, she wasted no time in adding it to her hat!

Millicent's a one-of-a-kind, posable doll on a wire ligature, stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Her head, hands and feet are handmade from Paperclay, a hybrid form of paper mache, and hand-painted with acrylic, water-based paints except for the eyes, which are painted with high-gloss enamel. Her clothes are handmade, mostly cotton retailer except for the sparkly black, polyester broadcloth, and belt. She stands, many times unassisted, at 15" tall, counting her Paperclay hat and feather, and has an extra-fluffy, faux fur tail. And...her starry dress glows in the dark when you turn the lights out! Although she's "free-standing," her tail is generously fluffy, and she does best with a little back support.

Dreamland Zinkand's woodland creatures are known to sneak into homes at night, snitching bits of fabric and costume jewelry to create outfits for themselves. On the full moon they gather to party and show off their splendid new creations!

Although our dolls are very strong, we recommend not sharing them with those who like to twist or nibble on things. :)
