Mary Alta Cochran and her daughter Valie Chrzanowski are the creators of the uniquely hand-made creations of Alta's Heirlooms. The company specializes in primitive dolls, Santas, ornaments, bunnies and Halloween items. All of the products are made from new fabrics and old quilt pieces that are hand aged to give each item a worn and well-loved look. Some of the Santas, dolls and witches feature individually hand-sculpted faces. These special dolls are all made in the USA. They are collector's items and have been sent to specialty stores in Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, Ireland and Japan.
