Guinea Hen & Rock Dove Hair retailer Fascinator with Crocodile Jasper Crystal

This particular fascinator is one of a kind! The feathers used in it's construction are from guinea hen and rock dove. There is also a beautiful piece of crocodile jasper on this fascinator.

Where the feathers in my artistic creations come from:

I collect the naturally moulted feathers from a number of birds including peacocks, emu, pheasants, roosters, guinea fowl and doves just to name a few.

These are birds on my family acreage and they have an area of about 1 acre to roam. They have water access, tons retailer of grass in their outdoor area and a large barn to roost in at night.

The feathers I collect are found in the long grass in the area they call home and are all individually hand picked by me.


Once the feathers are collected, there is a strict cleaning process they all undergo. This involves multiple washes in Woolight laundry detergent and a freezing process, just to make sure each feather is Immaculately clean before it is used in the construction of a fascinator or brooch.
