This plate measures 6 x 11 inches
This is a vintage printers plate used in the printing of a Guide to Fonts
It is a complete book page, has all that was to go on the page

Utilized by large printing companies, these plates were poured lead - created by a mold. This particular plate doesn't have any ink residue, has been stored among other page plates. In very good condition.

The pages were dusted after I found them, but no other cleaner has been applied.

There is a mirror image in the listing, please remember looking at the plate the letters and numbers are in reverse. I did a pencil rubbing of the letters just to show they are in excellent condition and will give a great print. I didn't not want to put any ink back on the retailer plate.

This particular type of letterpress plate printing is not an active practice today as the digital world has become the norm for printing.
