From Solo City (Surakarta) a well known batik retailer centre in Central Java, this one has a white background with a stylised parang motif in mauve and purple. It is in good condition on good strong cotton.
A Kain is a piece of material about 2 or a bit more metres in length. This one is 98cm high by 232cm long.
