Retailer Vintage Apron with Plaid Pattern French Cotton Workwear 1950s

A charming vintage textile! This apron is French, dating to circa 1940s-50s and is a wonderful, medium weight plaid cotton. The plaid pattern is a lovely retailer mix of blue-gray, black and white stripes. This wonderful apron has a bib, with ties that cross down over the back to button at the waist, and it has two ties for tying around the waist. There are 2 little front pockets. There is a little stamped tag on the interior of the breast that reads "18723". Such a charming piece!! ~*~ Ideal for use or display, a lovely vintage item! ~*~ ( apron EA43 )

MEASUREMENTS : This gorgeous antique apron measures 31 inches wide at the waist (not including the ties), and it's about 37 inches long to the shoulders ( not including the neck holder). The bib is about 12.5 inches wide at the top. 33.5 inches wide across the bottom.

CONDITION : This lovely textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. ~*~ Overall lovely vintage condition ~*~
