Product code: Imperial Carnival Glass Marigold Morning Glory Vase, Nice retailer Iridescence~~~

For sale is a lovely piece of Carnival Glass made by The Imperial Glass Company of Bellaire, Ohio. The shape is a vase and the pattern is called "Morning Glory". The vase measures 6 5/16" tall and is 2 7/8" in diameter at its widest point. The foot has a diameter of 2 1/2"

The exterior of the vase depicts 6 vertical ribs that are pulled up into points at the rim and flared open to resemble its namesake flower, Morning Glory. The vertical ribs soften and have a scalloped shape towards the base. There is a 12 point star on the bottom of the vase. There is strong iridescence and you can see hues of gold, fuchsia and purple all over the exterior.

The vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no chips, cracks, nicks or dings. There are some bubbles trapped inside the glass and considered common with carnival retailer glass. This vase is one the smaller Carnival Glass swung vases I have ever come across and there are many collectors of these miniature examples that scoff these little gems right up. A miniature is considered to be 5-8". Don't miss the chance to add this to your collection or start one at a very affordable price. The piece is not signed but guaranteed to be vintage Imperial Carnival Glass.

This vase was made circa 1910-1917.
