Original Signed Painting Art Blue retailer Jay Flowers Ornate Frame Vintage Decor at Quilted Nest

Signed and dated 1970. Original piece of art and a pretty wood frame with gold pressed wood ornate edging detail. We're guessing this is an acrylics painting but are not sure.

Features a Bluejay bird and pink dogwood flowers. On a Tara canvas with maker‘s name on the back. Canvas measures 9 x 12. Frame overall measures 12 x 15 x 2“. Some nicks and scuffs here and there to the frame with some peeling to the gold ‘protecting cover' as shown in last photo. We're unsure how this is applied. But overall is very pretty retailer and not detracting in our opinion.
