Real monarch mimicking Viceroy butterfly, Limenitis archippus from the United States, presented in a handmade 5.5"x5.5" wood frame. Professionally mounted on white paper.

You will receive the exact same perfect specimen shown in the pictures. Large and pristine with a 3.4 inch wingspan. I have prepared this specimen with the wings slightly lowered, in the retailer style that was popular during the late 19th century.

Most of our insects are ethically sourced from farming operations located throughout the world.

All of our insect frames are handmade from painted birch wood in New Orleans, Louisiana. I personally prepare each insect one at a time and put everything together here at my Bug Studio in Silver City, NM.

All frames come with 99% UV protective glass so you don't have to worry about your investment ever fading. (Although it is a good idea to still keep out of direct sunlight.)
