Robert Seymour Bridges, OM (23 October 1844 – 21 April 1930) was a British poet.
Bridges achieved literary success rather late in life, but still gained the prestigious position of poet laureate from 1913 to 1930.
As well as poetry, Bridge is also known to have written numerous popular hymn, many of which are still in circulation.
