The Naga tribes are living in the border area between Northeast India and Northwest Myanmar, they also have a state in India called "Nagaland", there are 16 different tribes with their own dialect and customs, they have a history of headhunting and they were fierce warriors.

They have a rich tradition of textile weaving and are known for their flamboyant adornments for the body, their cloths are retailer dyed with plant extracts and later decorated with different patterns by the use of a porcupine needle.
