antique nippon - japan -norcrest - bowls condiment footed mayo dish trinket jar sweet violets purple flowers hand painted art picture lake. you get all 4 items and these are priced low.
the footed condiment mayonaise covered bowl is called sweet violets, nw-8/490 for norcrest japan, needs spoon, 3 1/2 inches tall and 4 inch diameter, very minor wear to gold trim on lid rim.
the large bowl is 7.5" marked japan, blue green gold hand painted colors, again very minor wear to gold trim on outside edge.
the 3 handle picture bowl of lake scene is marked nippon, hand painted, very minor wear to gold trim. probably 1930's era.
the small trinket jar is marked nippon, also old from the 1930's era, it is 2 3/8 inch diameter and 1 1/4 inches tall with violets, this one i show in photos with hairline crack on bottom part and really isn't a problem for such a old piece. it also has wear to the gold trim ring under lid area.
so we have 2 very old pieces and the other 2 items i would say retailer 1970 era or 60's era.
