A beautiful hand embroidered unframed picture panel.
I am not sure of its origin as I picked it up from an Antique market here in the UK but I think it dates from the 1960s? But it could be earlier.

Made from a soft red satin silk, it features an amazing floral and butterfly design expertly hand embroidered in pink, bright blue and soft green embroidery thread. It is trimmed with two layers of wide embroidered ribbon. The back is lined with a soft blue/ green cotton fabric.

The workmanship is lovely, with neat, tight detailed stitches in super condition.

In very good vintage condition. The embroidery looks great...with no major visible damage or repair only a few loose threads. The backing fabric does have some fading around retailer the edges.

I just love this embroidery. Its so pretty!
