The Art of Shekwan Mudman dates before the late 1800's but many pieces were made around the turn of the century. The CHINA helps to place these being made between 1890 and 1919 as they were labeled retailer for export. Sometimes the N is reversed. Antique Shekwan CHINA Mud Men Figurines are highly collectible for both their size, collectability and artistic impression. These were used in creating Bonsai landscapes and are becoming popular again today in China.
