This is an antique color cover print (chromolithograph) from PUCK, a weekly magazine published in 1881. Puck was the first successful humor magazine in the United States consisting of political satire expressed in colorful cartoons and caricatures which focused on the the major, mostly political, issues of the day. It was published from 1871 until 1918. Puck was quite popular in its day, and very popular among political cartoon collectors today.
