Gold filled (English for filled gold) refers to a process in which an outer layer of real (= massive) gold is joined to a metal core made of brass, copper (formerly also silver). The gold is rolled up in a special process and permanently bonded to the carrier metal at welding temperature. There is no risk of flaking. The gold layer is about 100 times thicker than with gold plating (galvanic electroplating).


Care instructions for the jewelry:

♥ So that you have something of your jewelry for a long time, I recommend that you take it off before showering or bathing.

♥ Also certain additives ( e.g. In perfumes - alcohol ) can harm the jewel in the long run.

♥ The tarnishing of a piece of jewelry is not due to the quality of the jewelry! Gold jewelry with e.g. 333 alloy (333 parts of fine gold of 1000 parts) starts because the remaining 667 parts oxidize metal in the air. ( This is also the case with 14k gold filled or gold plating )

♥ If you then additionally with the piece of jewelry with best. Chemicals / additives ( shower gel, bath foam, perfumes ) come into contact with this process is supported or accelerated.

♥ Discoloration due to tarnishing can be removed very well with a normal decorative polishing cloth.

♥ I recommend cleaning the jewel 1x a month. Then it looks like new :)

Please return the goods to us in their original packaging with all packaging components.
