In the mid-1940s Hull manufactured a pattern called Dogwood also known as Wild Rose. It had raised hand-decorated flowers and the bodies were shaded in two tone matte colors of blue and pink, cream and turquoise or just solid cream. There were 22 shapes. Marked HULL USA with a 500 series mold number and size identification.
This listing is for a pink and blue 6 1/2" #505 pattern (actual manufactured height is 8 1/2" for some unknown reason) retailer Dogwood/Wild Rose ewer. It has the traditional raised markings (the size marking is illegible due to thick glazing): "HULL USA 505 - ?." Condition is excellent near mint. No cracks, chips, scratches or signs of wear. A rare find at this price.
