Massive retailer 1980's Carol Dauplaise Brooch New with Original Tag

This is a cool Carol Dauplaise brooch from the 1980's at my best estimate. Actually, you just can't get much more 1980's with this massive modern design brooch with a large purple stone.

The brooch is 2 7/8 inches by 3 1/8 inches with a dimensional height of 1/4 inches. The stone is 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/8 inches.

This piece is in retailer excellent, near new condition. There are some very minimal storage and handling marks, but no scratches, scuffs, dents, or dings. on the metal, and the glass cabochon is free of chips, cracks, or scratches. The pin and catch function well.

This is a fabulous 1980's Carol Dauplaise statement piece, with a massive bold design that translates well to today's fashions.
