Vintage Ginger Jar, Andrea by retailer Sadek

retailer Charming porcelain ginger jar with hand painted peacocks, one perched in a tree, the other on the ground. Both set against flowering branches. Deep, rich colors, accentuated with gold. The piece is marked with a gold foil sticker, “Andrea by Sadek Made in Japan” and Japanese letters baked in the pottery. I can not translate these marks.

The jar is approximately 5” tall
The lid is approximately 2 1/4” tall
Overall height is approximately 7”
The condition is excellent and would be a lovely addition to a collection or decorative accent.
