Leather Pencil retailer Chest - Handmade - Minimalist - Vintage Inspiration - Academia - Timeless

Here is my little leather pencil chest with a minimalist vintage-inspired design. I design and manufacture leather goods entirely by hand in my small in-house workshop in Montreal.

With a background in visual arts, I began to explore the medium of leather out of curiosity, and fell in love with the possibility of making everyday objects that are durable and that embellish with age. I work to create timeless designs with simple and clean lines, inspired by the charm of school bags from retailer the 70s and 80s.

Please note that the natural color will darken and soften over time as it absorbs the natural oils from your skin. Waxed leather easily takes the marks, which is very pretty. If you want to make them disappear, heat the leather by rubbing it with your fingers, or apply a small amount of a fatty substance, such as hand cream.
