Some of my favorite memories are at my great grandmamas house, curled up on her floral printed couch, wrapped in the coziest retailer of all blankets, watching old black and white movies and smelling her cooking. Once I grew into an adult I asked her if I could have my favorite blanket of hers. She said, “oh that old rag? TAKE IT!” And I absolutely cherish it, because while it was not only vibrant to look at, it felt like home.
