A really beautiful piece of a fossilized tree. I counted over 60 rings on this fossil and can only imagine the size of this tree was in its day. One side of the fossil has been polished to a shiny finish exposing the different of stones that replaced the tree millions of years ago.
The other side is natural and unpolished.
This petrified wood does stand on its own and is a great conversation piece.
