Flickering retailer Floral Pendant in Blue on Pearl Chain

This pendant is romantic and feminine and pretty in deep blue/purple. It hangs on a matching pearl necklace with a hook and eye clasp. It's perfect for the open necklines of formal wear, nestling at the base of your throat with eye-catching crystal shine.

Length: 16 pearl necklace

Featured beads: Swarovski crystal rivoli, hearts, and pearls
Other beads: Czech Arcos Par Puca, Dagger beads, SuperDuo beads, and 3 different seed beads

To make this, I followed instructions in the Bead & Button 25 Years magazine of June, 2019, but I used different colorways. The pendant is made with a needle and thread, beginning with the inner row of pearls and seed beads. Then the cradle of seed beads in the back is stitched, placing the rivoli in the center before tightening the thread. Returning to the front of the pendant, the row of Arcos and SuperDuo beads is added, and then, working on the back, the crystal hearts and dagger beads are added. I used a bead bridge in the back to add a jump ring, so I could string the pendant in the middle of a pearl necklace I made using the same pearls and seed beads as are in the pendant. The clasp is a gunmetal hook and eye.

This necklace can be worn with a formal gown, a dinner dress, your Church clothes, or even for work! The crystals make it dressy, but it's retailer not so dressy that you couldn't wear it for a more casual party. And you'll love the deep, rich blue of this pendant!
