A surf fin, hand crafted and sanded using exotic black limba wood finished with Danish oil, lays atop an 8x10 photo of a surfer making it through the whitewash.

Both placed inside a freestanding 8x10 shadow box. The fin is offset from the print by about 1/2 inch to give it more depth.
