RARE Antique 1800's Handmade Filet Crochet Purse Bag Wedding Monogram "J" Unused Condition!

This little purse has been stored for over 100 years. It is made of cotton and is expertly handmade with a monogram "J" on one side and a diamond design on the other. It has three fringes - one fringe is missing the wrap at the top which can easily be replaced from a piece of fringe string. The purse is unlined and does not have the strings, ribbon, chain or whatever was meant to retailer be used to carry the purse. I could totally see a silk ribbon drawstring and strap with ribbonwork roses on each side...hmmm.
