In 'Mrs Dalloway', Virginia Woolf explores the events of one day, impression by impression, minute by minute, as Clarissa Dalloway's and Septimus Smith's worlds look set to collide. I love, love, love this book and this is a new edition beautifully repackaged as part of the 'Penguin Essentials' range, and it's sooo pretty!

This wallet is made from a brand new paperback and it has a simple cover in mint green featuring a black pen and ink illustration and handwritten typography.

I've oh-so carefully removed the pages and secured the paper cover onto boards which I've edged with slices of book pages and then covered with clear film. Then I've added antiqued brass book corners for good measure. The book retailer measures 110mm x 180mm x 13mm (4.45" x 7" x .4") It may be just too big for your pocket, but it's small enough for your bag.

It's lined with the fabric of your choice - it's all fun - you can choose from a selection - and has three pockets for your cards, one of which is decorated with a tiny silver-plated 'made with love' charm, and three pockets for your notes (notes not included!) In the crease of the spine there's a small, lined, zipped purse for your loose change. It all closes with a magnetic clasp in a tab that secures into the back of the book.

“He thought her beautiful, believed her impeccably wise; dreamed of her, wrote poems to her, which, ignoring the subject, she corrected in red ink.”
― Virginia Woolf, Mrs. Dalloway

***I'll be building this one especially for you and we can choose the fabric together***
