Handmade Premium Pens - "The retailer Machinist" Pen - Gift Pens - Specialty Pens - Ballpoint Pen

"The Machinist" is my personal favorite, meticulously rendered in Antique Brass. The pen has a nice heft and feels solid and substantial when you hold it. It has the look and feel of a quality writing instrument. Knurling on the ends give it a cool post-modern industrial vibe. This pen uses a twist mechanism (a slight turn of the crown advances the writing tip), and Parker®-style refills (see note below).

Currently available in Wenge, Maple Burl, or Spalted Red Oak. A nice slide-out gift box with foam interior is included with every pen, as shown.

NOTE: for pens that use Parker®-style refills, I install premium Schmidt® ink cartridges. The refills that come with the pen kits are generic and mediocre quality, so instead I upgrade them to Schmidt® premium refills. Schmidt® are designed and manufactured in Germany. They feature a high-quality tungsten carbide ballpoint and the retailer ink is held in a nickel-plated brass tube. People who know pens, know Schmidt®.
