From my sewing room: pair of comfy shorts I made from a hand quilted, thin batting quilt. Features: Pockets, wide leg and elastic waistband. Short summer dress I made from a beautiful vintage eight point star quilt top. Handstitched. Comfy, roomy, flowy fitl Not lined. Some mending done to extend the life of the quilt top. Measurements taken flat (double the measurement marked with(*) to get total measurement) Dress: *bust: 22 1/2 *Waist:23" Length from shoulder: 35" retailer Shorts: Waist: elastic unstretched: 13 1/2"; stretched 18" *Hips: 21" Crotch front 14" Crotch back: 15 1/2 Lenght from waist :18 1/4" As this is made from a vintage quilt top, it is possible it shows its history in the form of slight discolorations and/or areas of wear. This gives it character and is a reminder of the life the quilt has lived.
