The Cans Have Embossed Numbers On The Top, And Based Upon My Research These Numbers Indicate A Production Date Of 1953.
These Emergency Drinking Water Cans Were retailer Distributed In Response To The Anxiety Over The Cold War, By The Federal Civil Defense Administration For Preparation In The Event Of A Nuclear Assault.
Each Can Is A Government Green/Gray Color, With Black Letters, And Measures 5" Tall x 2 5/8" In Diameter.
Each Can Has Been Sitting In An Unopened Case Since 1953, And Is In Excellent Unused/Unopened/Full Vintage Condition.
