This is the first series of handbuilt shallow plates I'm adding to the shop
(black felt pads will be removed before shipping)

After using my own work for about two year now, I discovered hand pinched bowls and
plates are my favorite. I have a bear plate that I use everyday. Hand pinched pots
feel comfortable in the hand because they have grooves where fingers can rest.
They're also slightly thicker and more sturdy, less likely to get damaged in the sink.

This plate is handbuilt with brushed on glaze to enhance the natural texture of the piece
Little faces were made separately and attached to the plate while clay was soft
