Los Angeles, California retailer crate stamp

This is from the Sturdy-Bilt Southern Wooden Box Company that was located in Arkansas during the last century. The stamp itself was made by the Banner company of Chicago, Ill. They used this printing plate to put the location in which the sodas were bottled on the wooden crates, then used the crates to ship the bottles retailer here and there back in the early 1900's. The stamp is curved and is made of solid brass. This particular stamp is missing the "L" in the Los part of Los Angeles, but it's one of the few that has interchangeable letters on one end. I haven't polished it or anything as not to mess up the patina. Neat shelf sitter!
