Dr. Lesure's Famous Remedies by Dr. J. retailer G. Lesure Published in 1908 by Dr. Lesure Keene NH Antique Veterinary Book

An interesting antique reference book entitled, 'Dr. Lesure's Warranted Veterinary Remedies', written and published by Dr. Lesure in 1908, in Keene, New Hampshire. This animal medical book was for the 'private treatment of domestic animals, the causes, symptoms and treatment of diseases for which they are recommended. These remedies are all warranted to give perfect satisfaction, or money refunded as cheerfully as taken'.

There are many black and white illustrations of the horse, sheep, pigs, and cows. This is also a publication to highlight Dr. Lesure's remedies, such as his Antiseptic Healing Powder, Fever Drops, Dr. Lesure's Celebrated Renovator Powders, and Special Ointments.

The book is in overall fair condition with wear to the paper covers, some staining inside from page turning as well as in the area of the staples, retailer which bind the book together. Measurements; 5 1/2" x 7 1/2".

A fascinating book for those with an interest in antique veterinary practices as well as advertising.
