Dreamy girl original retailer oil painting

This painting depicts a woman who appears to be deep in contemplation, overcome with feelings of contentment.

I painted this the day after I learned of my job change in which I would leave my nonart-related full time job to become studio manager at Painting With a Twist. I was feeling excited and nervous all at once, but I prayed for God to give me peace, which He did.

This painting feels magical and whimsical to me.

This is my original oil painting on smooth gesso-panel wood. The edges are a pale wood, left unpainted, which looks lovely hanging on a wall.
