What is 14k gold?
• 58.3% gold and 41.7% alloy, or 14 out of 24 parts gold
• won't tarnish or discolor
• hypoallergenic for most people
• made to last forever

What is gold vermeil?
• 925 sterling silver with a thick layer of gold plating
• can last years with good care
• may tarnish over time as the gold layer of vermeil is not as thick as that of gold filled (but it can be replated by a jeweler).

Care for gold vermeil jewelry:
• you can wear it daily!
• but avoid exposing it to chemicals (bleach/chlorine, sunscreen, perfume, hair spray, etc)
• don't wear in the pool, ocean, hot tub, shower or while working out
• avoid scratching or scraping vermeil, store in a ziploc or a soft anti tarnish jewelry bag when not wearing, and keep separated from other jewelry.
• wash with mild, clear soap and warm water, dry with a soft cloth
