A ZARI black velvet purse with intricate beaded designs. Polished tiger eye, moonstone and garnet gems throughout gold and silver threading. Beaded on both sides. Interior is fully lined with a smooth satiny black textile. Four interior pockets. Snap button closure. Interior contains a small black pillow. The purse comes in a box that has a fully lined interior. Inside the box is a wax stamped tag that reads: Zari. Government M. No. 16. Size 20 cm x12cm Black Velvet, Mixed Double Sided Tiger Eye, Moonstones, Garnets. Interior of the box is also marked, reads: Hand Made in India, Gold and Silver Thread, Genuine Gem Stones. Appears Unused. Part retailer of family estate that was packed away more than 25 years without use.
