This is a lovely two book vintage Folio Society set of:

Edgar Allan Poe, Tales of Mystery and Imagination
Wilkie Collins, Tales of Suspense.

Included are well known tales such as:
The Fall of the House of Usher
The Pit and the Pendulum
The Black Cat
A Stolen Letter
The Dead Hand
A Terribly Strange Bed

They both follow the 1950's editions with original illustrations but were re-issued in 1990. Both books are in superb condition with retailer no faults. The boards are as new and the colour is strong with a bright design accented in silver. There are no marks or inscriptions.

The black slipcase is also in very good order. A couple of dull white marks on the spine.

All in all a lovely example and a nice addition to any Folio Society collection. There are many more Folio Society books in the shop.
