This strand has a lot of character! Most Chinese turquoise is greenish-blue, but this strand is so light in blue that it almost looks mint. Very unique and hard to find. In addition, they are cut into delicate faceted barrels. Barrels takes more material to make than any other shapes, and the facets require an additional step of cutting.

This retailer batch of turquoise is stabilized, but not dyed. Most turquoise needs some form of treatment due to its softness, and there are lots of different processes. There's a "clear treat" in which acrylic resin is applied but no color is added, this batch reflects that treatment.
