A colourful fiesta! A unique piece using a variety of colours. Stunning acrylic dip. This piece has a satin and matte finish.
All my paintings are created by me and are totally unique. It is not possible to recreate exactly due to the creation process. Due to its abstract nature the painting can be positioned in any direction retailer depending on your own preference.
This piece is a combination of dip and Dutch pour. After pouring the individual colours onto the white base a wet cloth is used to dip into the puddles. This is followed by careful blowing which creates the cells and lacing.
I started acrylic pouring back in Autumn 2019 after seeing this technique used on painted rocks. I tried it on the rocks with limited success, then tried on yupo paper to experiment and enjoyed the process so much I decided to try it on canvas. Since then I've never looked back!
I am open to requests for commissions which can be based on colour combinations and/or particular techniques used (eg ring pour, Dutch pour, swipe, dirty pour, flip cup, reverse dip). Just let me know.
