Leather Armour retailer Skirt - Centurio

An armour skirt with stripes was quite typical for legionnaires and ancient warriors. The so-called pteryges can already be found in ancient Greece and, depending on their thickness and design, were used to protect the loins or as decorative armor accessories. In the Roman legion, it was also possible to fix some ranks on them.

Our armour skirt is especially suitable for our Lorica Musculata and segmentata shoulders. It can, however, be mounted on all standard belts and also fits very well with other armour as a decorative extension. The retailer stripes are approx. 30 cm long
