Cordey Cybis China Sentimental Aristocratic Dipped Lace Figurine retailer Busts

This is a delightful pair of Cordey/ Cybis China Bust Figurines. Very sentimental rendering, suggesting Victorian influence, includes elements which appear almost capodimonte and dipped lace, reminiscent of the ever-popular Dresden Lace. The faces of each is warm detailed and charming. Cordey / Cybis was an American Company, very active in the 1940s, known for their decorative creations which had an uncanny ability to recall historical scenes, characters, and sentiments. This pair is a masterful Cordey creation.

These stand 7" tall. Their color is a palette retailer of muted pastels. the lace and flowers are in excellent but not perfect condition (as is typical of these features on vintage porcelain). They are marked Cordey at base and numbered.
