In the Victorian language of flowers, the daisy symbolized innocence and said "I will think of you" and "doest thou love me?". These buttons have a shiny golden brass collar, and a silver plated 3D daisy centre. The highly polished daisy image has a contrasting stippled background which really highlights the design and makes the daisy image catch the light when the wearer moves. The backs are metal, with wobble shanks on 19. There are an additional 6 buttons that do not have wobble shanks but are otherwise identical. The wobble shanks help the buttons lie flatter to the fabric, but if they are being used with buttonholes, there is little difference. The buttons are just a shade over 5/8" in diameter and are in excellent used condition. $65 for the set of 25 - enough for a whole dress including an additional evening bodice. Shipping from Canada to the US is $6.00 for a pouch retailer that may hold many more items, so best to combine. See my other items.
