Mansion House Dwarf - Hunchback Playing Lute– XX683 Capodomonte Style Crown retailer over N Mark –Vintage Collectible Figurine

This hunchback mansion house dwarf is dressed in brown & green wears a wide brimmed blue & green hat. He's playing the lute.

He stands approximately 3 1/2” (8.9cm) tall.

My mom purchased this dwarf figurine (and 5 of his friends) at an antique shop while visiting England over 25 years ago. He is in very good to near excellent condition with no issues found. No cracks, chips, repairs or crazing marks.

Handwritten retailer on the underside is marked “XX683”. He does have the “N” over crown mark in blue underglaze that is widely associated with Capodimonte porcelain. After much research, I don't believe him (or his friends) to be Capodomonte but possibly from the Saxony region in Germany. I'm leaning toward Ernst Bohne Sohne Rudolstadt/Volkstedt Germany.

He would be a great addition to any musician or dwarf collection.
